About Me

My name is Harley and I'm a very keen cyclist. I set up this blog in December 2011 to help me track all of my rides and let every one else know what I've been getting up to. I love to ride my bike, and I have three of them. One of them is a classic Mistral racing bike which we happened to come across at a tiny second hand bike shop and bought it for only fifty quid. It weighs a tonne, complete with ancient safety brakes and down-tube shifters with only five gears, but I still manage to ride it to and from school every morning. My other racing bikes the one I use when going on much longer rides on the road with my Dad, and was his until he got an even more expensive one. It's a Giant Defy 3.5 in a cool red, black and white colour scheme, with a new fancy Specialized helmet to match. My newest, addition which I acquired at Christmas 2011.
     I ride Beeston Cycling Club, my local club which the rest of my family are involved in. I've been on a few club rides, which you can read on my main page
